It was quite a weekend here in Northern Colorado as we get ready to begin this final week of September.
Just like nearly every weekend this summer and early fall I like to get out and enjoy the weather. This weekend was no different. On Saturday, I enjoyed walking around the University of Northern Colorado campus with the UNC track team who put on a fundraiser called the Run For Roger. It was a cool morning, but brought back a lot of fun memories of dorm living and classes as we walked through the campus.
Sunday morning is typically a good time to enjoy some quiet time and rejuvenate. I caught a nice 19 inch walleye out of Boyd Lake and a few small catfish. The walleye fishing has been weird this season, but I have managed to catch a few. Just like my friend has told me many times, that’s why we call it fishing, not catching.
Sunday in Colorado also means football and like many others I enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos win their third game of the season. Go Broncos!!
Northern Colorado offers the very best in terms of fall activities. I’ll spotlight just a few of these things this week.
If you enjoy the outdoors in Colorado as much as I do, I’d love to hear from you.
Have a great week!

"Mario was outstanding in every regard from helping locate our gorgeous new home to connecting us with the local resources we needed to get through the entire transaction. As a first-time home buyer, I was completely out of my element most of the time. Mario put in extra effort, making sure that I understood every step and could participate fully in each decision along the way. Great job!"
